Stack Advisor (v5+, Addendum B)
Context-aware tool recommendations.
Stack Advisor suggests specific tools, services, and packages (e.g., Storyblok, Supabase features, Stripe, feature flags) that fit your existing stack, flows, and code patterns. Recommendations are opinionated but not spammy—a small curated list with rationale and trade-offs.
Recommendation types
- Headless CMS — When content-heavy flows, repeated schemas, or multi-lingual needs are detected
- Backend & infra — RLS policies, auth providers, Sentry/PostHog when gaps are found
- UI & component libraries — When custom elements overlap with Mantine, Radix, etc.
- SaaS & AI tooling — Stripe, feature flags, Cursor/Supabase AI where appropriate
Stack Advisor panel (Spec)
The project tab shows Recommended Tools & Services. Each tool card includes: name and logo, short description, "Why we recommend this for your project" (1–2 bullets), pros/cons and trade-offs, links to docs/guides. A context snippet explains the basis (e.g. "Based on: your Next.js + Supabase stack, content-heavy flows, manual content structures"). Limit: 3–7 recommendations per project.
How it works
Stack Advisor uses your project tech stack, Blue Painter analyses (design/coded flows), and Observer data. Each recommendation includes why it fits your project and a brief integration sketch. Limit: 3–7 recommendations per project.
