Blue Painter is available on Windows, Mac, Linux, Chrome extension, Firefox extension, and mobile (iOS, iPadOS, Android). Core analysis features are aligned across platforms; some advanced integrations vary.

Mac (macOS)

Native desktop app for Intel and Apple Silicon. Supports DMG and ZIP. Local file scans, offline-capable analysis. In v3, the Live sidecar runs alongside Figma and shows real-time complexity, warnings, and suggestions—see Live Design Governance. Auto-updates on launch—see Desktop app updates.

Windows

Blue Painter Inspector for analyzing live web apps in the browser. Install from Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add-ons. Extensions update automatically.
